Bad Friday

 

I told myself I wasn’t gonna post about this until done but I can’t hold it.
I’ve got a really exciting project going on and I've got the first chapter of it almost ready.

I've been working on my graphic novel for the past couple of weeks. Or rather, the idea for the project has haunted me for a couple of years now, and now I think my body is ready to make it happen. So that what's been going on. Drawing the stories out. And I'm super psyched! I've also got to practise using quills and inks, that's been super exciting for me, a fairly new technique to learn. 

The project is a horror comic, I'm making a horror comic! How scary it is.. we'll it's for the readers to decide, but I've always wanted to make one. Scary stuff is the best.

It's a story about a very twisted, weird, macabre world, where the protagonists experience lots weird stuff and are weird themselves. The protagonists are six friends with weird interests and abilities, like alchemy or attracting UFOs and such. I wanted to have a nice variety of creepy stuff happening to my characters to make their world as crazy as it gets.

Briar Rose's story is the opening story. As some, who know German language, might have guessed Briar Rose got her name from sleeping beauty. Her life revolves around a twisted dream world that she has to experience way too many times. In the dream world she meets lots of things that will make her waking life very disturbing.

The project is a collection of short stories that are all linked together.
